Document Manager Module (DocMgr®) SRVAlync’s optional document management module allows you to immediately view “outside” documents related to a Task such as drawings, customer letters, legal descriptions, etc.
The document list box on the Jobs/Tasks form shows the documents related to the Task. Simply select the document you wish to view and the document immediately opens on top of SRVAlync. The document may then be viewed, edited and/or printed all from within the application that created the document. The Document Manager module makes files or documents connected with the job instantly available with a “click”. If you do formal quoting to your Clients, SRVAlync’s optional quote generating and tracking module allows you to quickly create and price detailed quotes or estimates. As Tasks result from the quotes, SRVAlync automatically creates a new Task and links the quote to the Task for a complete history of the Task’s evolution. The module comes with a specialized suite of reports including formal customer quote forms. Data Export Modules can export the quote data, for example, for use with word processor mail merge programs to produce client “customized” quotes.
TaskTrak® Barcode-based Job/Task Tracking Module
The optional barcode-based Task or Work Order tracking module is designed primarily for the larger, multi-crew operation using a networked SRVAlync system. Barcodes are automatically printed on your Work Order form. As the Task moves from work phase to work phase, the Work Order is scanned at the beginning and completion of the work phase at any convenient network workstation. The date, in time, out time and responsible department/person is immediately and automatically recorded in SRVAlync for the particular Task. SRVAlync’s barcode tracking module maintains a complete work history of the Task. Just drop down the status list in the Jobs/Tasks form to instantly view the history of a Job/Task.

AccuPay® Barcode-Based Payment Entry Module For those organizations with medium to high job throughput, our barcode-based Invoice/Statement payment entry module will save hours of frustration by preventing misapplied Client payments. Your Invoices and Statements are printed with identifying barcodes. A quick scan of copies received with your customer's check will automatically post the payments to the correct invoices and in the correct amount. This module will pay for itself by preventing just one entry mistake! AutoBill® Automatic Job/Task Invoicing If you find yourself invoicing the same types of Jobs or Tasks to the same customers routinely, or, you have a fixed charge for certain types of tasks, you might consider our "Auto Invoicing Module" to save you time, mistakes and shorten your invoicing process. This module allows you to establish relationships between customers, types of jobs/tasks and invoice dollars so that an invoice is created automatically at the completion of the job/task with a value based on the customer and/or type of job. SLscheduler® Field Crew Scheduling System for SRVAlync SLscheduler is a module that works with SRVAlync to provide a means of scheduling field work and viewing that schedule on an "at-a-glance" basis. You may tell InterestAdder the default "grace" period to use before interest begins to be added plus the amount of interest and fixed charges to add per period. You may also specify whether to use the current balance or original invoiced value for calculating the interest. The module gives you the flexibility to set a custom grace period, interest, calculation method and other parameters or to completely exclude specific Invoices, Tasks and/or Clients from interest altogether orters. In any well-used database, duplicate records can be inadvertently entered. For example, you might have a particular client entered as "Acme National Mortgage, Co." and "Acme National Mortgage Company". This means that you have contacts and jobs split between the two clients giving you an incomplete picture of client/job activity, and, worse, an erroneous picture of your accounts receivable for that Client. The same can be true of duplicate Job and Task entries where you might have locations entered multiple times with only minor variations in descriptions. These duplicated records are hard to find in any database, but SRVAlync has a solution with our Intelligent Duplicate Record Cleanup Utility. The utility scrutinizes each record in your database and intelligently matches those it believes are duplicates (you can even control the "looseness" with which it matches records). You are then presented with a list of potential duplications on the screen or in a printed report. Using your judgment, the utility offers a "point-and-click" way of correcting any duplications found while maintaining the integrity of your data. The utility includes clean-up features for Clients, Contacts, Jobs, Tasks and Invoices with automatic "roll-up" of accounts receivable and cost data, optional duplicate Job or Client record deletion, and automatic Task and Invoice renumbering where applicable to your system. For those of you in “tax” States, our CityTax module allows you to enter tax rates for various tax jurisdictions. These tax rates are then automatically entered into the invoicing process depending on the “Bill To” Client’s address. Data Importing In many cases, it is possible to import existing data into SRVAlync from other databases, spreadsheets, etc. DataLync will be happy to give you a proposal to move such data on an individual case basis after reviewing the structure of the data source. Annual Maintenance Agreements (MA’s) are available which pick up after the initial 90-day unlimited telephone support period. MA holders have available unlimited, no cost telephone support during the term of the Agreement plus program upgrades released during the Agreement term are available at no charge to the MA holder (instead of the normal $125 upgrade charge). Support is also available on a case-by-case basis if an MA is not desired |
